Manufactured Home Relocation Trust Fund
The Manufactured Home Relocation Trust Fund provides compensation to participating manufactured homeowners if all or part of their manufactured home park closes.
Homeowners pay the park owner $15 per year. The park owner sends that to Minnesota Housing as we administer the fund.
When a Park Closes
If a park is closing, the park owner will notify us. The local municipality will appoint a neutral third party to review and approve homeowner requests to receive funds.
If you are a homeowner requesting funds, you need to submit:
- A copy of the closure letter
- Documentation showing property taxes are paid
- Contract for moving costs (if home can be moved)
- Certificate of title with release on all liens (if home cannot be moved)
Once the request is approved, we will issue payment to you or the movers.
Manufactured Home Community Financing
We may provide financing for manufactured home communities throughout Minnesota. Contact us for information on available terms and conditions.
Notice of Unsolicited Offer Requirement
Park owners must notify us, as well as park residents, when they receive an unsolicited offer, which they are considering, to buy the park.
We have received these notices of unsolicited offers:
