Multifamily Loan/Grant Servicing Requests

Request for Action (RFA)

An RFA form must be completed for all loan/grant servicing requests (including amortizing debt, deferred debt, and tax credit only financing). This is a multi-step process. When the signed RFA is submitted, a checklist of required documents will be sent to the requestor. When the checklist items are returned to Minnesota Housing, they will be reviewed and presented to Committee. The requestor will be notified in writing of the Committees' decision and the next steps will be outlined.

The RFA and required documentation must be submitted a minimum of 45 business days prior to the anticipated closing or transaction date. This date may be extended depending on the nature of the request and/or the completeness of the requested documentation. Minnesota Housing reserves the right to request additional documents or information. A processing/administrative fee may be required for each request.

  • Estimated Payoff: Owner must submit a completed Request For Action form
  • Actual Payoff: Owner must submit a completed Request For Action form and the payoff worksheet
