Minnesota Housing provides training, technical assistance and information sessions to housing industry partners and professionals on a variety of programs and procedures. 

Fix-up Fund/Community Fix-up Fund

Training Description
This training provides details on the Minnesota Housing Fix-up Fund and Community Fix-up Fund Home Improvement Programs.  The training is designed for staff who work at a Minnesota Housing approved Fix-up Fund/Community Fix-up Fund  lender, including managers, loan officers and processing staff. Other housing professionals are also welcome to register for informational purposes. This training does not cover the Single Family HDS Web Application training to learn how to enter, commit and fund a loan.

  •  Features and benefits
    •  Effective June 4, new features include:
      • increased lender fees;
      • unsecured loans up to $10,000;
      • incentive interest rate for secured loans, up to $7,500, for basic energy conservation and accessibility improvements;
      • removal of pre-payment penalty; and
      • implementation of minimum credit scores and minimum loan documentation requirements.
